Website for the Kypseli Dairy & Pastry Shop in Volos

Design and development of a bilingual Framer website for Kypseli, a historic dairy and pastry brand in Volos, with a focus on brand storytelling, product catalog organization, and a local SEO strategy.

Project Overview & My Role

Kypseli is one of the most historic and recognizable names in Volos within its field, yet until recently it had no website that genuinely captured the identity, history, and value of its brand online. The goal of the project was to build a complete digital presence from scratch — one capable of conveying the character of the business in a modern, functional, and aesthetically coherent environment.

My role spanned every stage of the project. I handled the strategy, sitemap, content structure, UX/UI design, and SEO planning, as well as the full build in Framer, shaping the website from the initial concept through to its final implementation.

The challenge

The biggest challenge of the project was translating a brand with a strong local footprint and a long history into an online experience that radiates the same authenticity, quality, and trust. A good-looking site wasn't enough. It needed a substantive approach that respected the character of the business and avoided a generic or impersonal presentation.

At the same time, a pivotal point was organizing the wide range of products in a way that was clear, easy to use, and mobile-friendly. The website also had to work in two languages — Greek and English — while building a solid foundation for local SEO and future content growth from the very start.

The solution

The solution we designed was built around a website with a vintage aesthetic direction that stays clean, modern, and functional in its structure. The information architecture was organized around the brand's history, the product catalog, trust signals, and the clear local identity of the business, so that visitors could easily understand both who Kypseli is and what it offers.

Particular emphasis was placed on the products page, designed as a fully responsive browsing experience with sticky category filters, so that navigating the catalog feels immediate and clear across all devices. At the same time, the website was built bilingual and with SEO-friendly logic, supporting the online visibility and the overall digital image of the business.

The result

The result was a live, bilingual website that gave Kypseli a digital presence worthy of its history and recognition. Through a clear structure, a consistent aesthetic direction, and well-organized content, the brand gained a complete, modern, and professional online footprint.

One of the most important outcomes of the project was turning the product catalog into a core functional pillar of the website rather than a simple secondary page. With responsive design, sticky category filters, and support for two languages, the catalog became usable, organized, and visitor-friendly.
