Volos Engineering Office Digital Presence

Designed and implemented a website for a topographical engineering office with 40+ years of experience. Minimal Scandinavian design in Framer with CMS for projects and a blog, optimized for local SEO.

Project Overview & My Role

The Tamias office in Volos (since 1981) had never had a website. This lack of online presence prevented new clients from finding their work. We designed a minimal Scandinavian site in Framer that highlights services (Topographical Surveys, Urban Planning, Drone Mapping, Land Registry), presents the portfolio via CMS, and boosts local SEO for Magnesia.

I led the full information architecture (IA), wireframes, and Framer implementation, creating reusable components for cards, sections, and navigation to ensure easy maintenance and global-level upgrades.

The challenge

Despite 40 years of experience, there was no website to present the portfolio or answer client questions. The site needed a clear structure for four specialized services, a projects gallery, and a blog — without confusing the user. It also had to be easy to update for non-technical staff, with CMS for projects and articles, and optimized for searches like “topographer Volos” with excellent mobile performance.

The solution

I followed a Scandinavian minimal style with clean lines, generous whitespace, and a focus on drone/project imagery for a professional feel. The site structure includes Home, four service pages, an “Office” page, Contact with form, and a Dynamic Blog & Projects CMS.

I converted cards, buttons, and sections into reusable components for global edits, with custom meta titles/descriptions, H1/H2 optimization, and NAP consistency for local rankings.

The result

The site was delivered as a fully functional platform with CMS, giving the office a professional online identity for the first time in its 40+ years of operation. The CMS for projects and blog allows independent updates without external help, while the mobile-first design with reusable components ensures excellent speed and easy maintenance.

The site is optimized for local searches ("topographer Volos", "land registry Magnesia") with proper meta data, H1/H2, and NAP consistency.

Stelios helped me create my website exactly as I had envisioned it. He was responsive in communication and guided me through every stage, patiently answering all my questions. If you want a modern and fast website, I highly recommend him!
